My wife and I just returned from a 4 night stay at Playa Escondida. It was fantastic. Our room was beautiful; the food and drinks were great; and the hotel staff *absolutely amazing.* My wife and I travel quite a bit for work and we've had the pleasure of staying in some nice and highly rated hotels and honestly, I don't think I've ever encountered a staff as warm, friendly and on-point as the one at Playa Escondida.

Amazing

We recently spent our December month in Playa Escondida. It honestly was the place where my step family and i were truly united. The absolute best guy in the whole world named Jorge. Not George, or Haywore. Hor-Hay. Made the trip the best ever! It was like a second home. He help us create our famous drink, \"The Twisted Sisters\"(Founded By Paije and Kassidy). The staff was amazing! the nicest people ever! Mario was pretty awesome too! And all teh extra accomodations they offered was fantastic!

My husband and i just returned from magical Playa Escondida and are making plans to return next year with friends. The location, service, food and natural beauty were outstanding...and Jorge\'s margaritas are...well... let\'s just say I needed one the next day to recover from the night before.Thank you to all the special people at Playa Escondida...you hospitality and gracious service are SOOOOO appreciated!"

Playa is one of the best places on earth. We cant wait to get back. One week turned into 10 fabulous never forgetting wishing it was forever vacation. The best part about it was the friendly staff. Alex and Armando, you guys rule. Jose, sorry we missed your birthday party, heard it was a blast! Alejandro, hope you practiced up on your chess moves because there is a rematch coming up! Pure Relaxation

I booked this surprise trip for my wife and I in hopes of a true getaway, it was tough leaving our 16 month old home but found once we arrived I had really found a special place. It exceeded our expectations in every way- quiet, relaxing, an absolutely wonderful staff, and a pure paradise. We rented a car with the thought of driving around the local area and maybe trying some restaurants elsewhere. Due to the excellent staff and truly amazing food we ate dinner in every night we were there.

We spent 10 days at Playa Escondia recently and found it awesome. We loved everything, the staff were awesome and our bungalow in the jungle was great. The beach was one of the most beautifulest we have ever been blessed to walk on, it truely is a secret beach. Many thanks Playa Escondia...."

I have been to Mexico plenty of times, but we were tired of the business and congestion of big resorts. We stumbled upon Play Escondida while searching on the web. We came in February 2008 for 4 nights and it was so refreshing to not have the tourist vibe that PV abounds with. Playa is a relaxed, quiet vacation without phones, tons of people, or distractions. The resort has great food, a great pool, and an atmosphere that is charming and eclectic. We will be coming back."

Can't Wait To Come Back

We spent over a week at Playa Escondida recently and it was awesome. The bungalows in the jungle are great, truly like living outside, but with all the comforts of home. We loved the restaurant, bar, beach and pool. And, the staff was amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable. We rented a car and wouldn't have it any other way. The resort is located about 10 minutes from Sayulita and having a car made it easy to enjoy both as well as explore the coast and the town of San Pancho further north. The

Playa Escondida is NOT a family resort however you should be aware that you may encounter a few children from time to time.
