Normal reservation policy
Assures your choice of rooms and provides protection from unforeseen changes in your plans with flexible cancellation policies.
Payments: 50% deposit to confirm reservation, and the remainder due 30 days before arrival date.
Changes: Cancel up to 1 week before arrival and still retain a percentage of your payment as a refund or a credit for a future stay:

Extra persons
All rates are based on double occupancy, extra persons will be charged with 50 usd/person/night. Children will be 25 usd/person/night
Children Policy
Because the concept of Playa Escondida is promoted primarily as a resort for rest and relaxation and, as well, due to safety concerns, we have implemented the following policies regarding children:
- No children under the age of 5 years
- Dates available for children to visit are the weeks of Christmas, Easter and the month of July
- Maximum of 2 children per family (8 children total)

New Year:

Holiday Policies
- Deposits: 50% deposit to confirm reservation/reminder due 60 days before arrival date.
- Cancellations: If your room is not re-rented, the Holiday celebration fee will be FORFEITED before applying the Refund and Credit Schedule (our expenses for music, decoration and fireworks are based on full occupancy). Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival will not be eligible for a refund or credit. Credits will be valid only in 2013.

Smoking Policy
All of our rooms are non-smoking as are our dining areas, including the bar in the main restaurant. Smoking at the Beach Bar is permitted. Please show consideration for non-smoking guests and place your stubbed butts in appropriate containers. The palapas (thatched roofs) are highly flammable so be particularly careful in areas with palapas.
